If the code is there on the other person’s profile, you fill in a box for example X Me with “Give some caffeine to”, and click submit, there is no reason in hell that functionally the app NEEDS to be installed on YOUR profile for it to work.
facebook apps should let you use them when installed on other people's profiles without having to install them on yours
